David Hill – a genuine, honest and trustworthy person. A constant who has never been heard to speak a wrong word against anybody or loose his temper. He is a very mellow, calm character. His relationship with both of his parents-in-law was admirable. The charges against him are completely fabricated.
I believe David Hill is totally innocent of these charges.
David Hill – A kind caring loving man dedicated to all his family and friends. He has never lost his temper or been violent to anyone in his entire life. The charges and subsequent verdict are totally ridiculous and I believe David to be completely innocent.
David married my sister in 1988 and in all that time, I have never known him raise his voice or get angry. He is a calm, pleasant, kind and unassuming man, who would do anything for anyone.
The person who murdered my Mum is out there celebrating, whilst David is in prision for a murder he didn’t commit. If anyone knows any information tell us so we can put the real culprit inside and put this mis-carriage of justice to rights!
David is a kind thoughtful man, intelligent with a quick sense of humour as his family and many friends can well testify.There is no way on God’s earth that he could commit a crime such as this to a person he loved and cared for. I have been a friend of Maxines for many years and I have known David for more of those. He was always kind, caring and thoughtful when I went to his shop. The verdict is ridiculous and should be over turned without delay. Maxine and their sons deserve to have David home where he belongs!!! My heart goes out to both families.
i first met david many years ago when i started work at mollys card shop in the old market. since then ive grown to know david even better and he as become a dear friend. david hill is a decent loving family guy who can get on with anyone since working and known david for many years in all that time ive never known david to rise his voice, lose his temper or have a bad word to say about anyone. he is a great decent caring man that would do anything to help anyone who needed it hes a brill guy and a great friend.
Anyone who knows Dave, either as a casual acquaintance, or in my case, as a long-standing friend of over 20 years, cannot help but appreciate the warmth, integrity and decency of this man. Dave does not have it in his make-up to commit such brutality, and apart from this personal testimonial, the evidence (or lack of it in this case) speaks for itself. Anyone who followed this trial carefully, cannot fail to be bemused and horrified by the unanticipated and unjust verdict. This innocent man languishes in prison whilst the actual murderer has yet to pay for his crime. Dave is most definitely one of life’s “good guys”, and questions must be asked in high places as to how this outcome could occur within our justice system, which is apparently the envy of the civilised world.
ive only known dave for about three months but that is long enough to know that he is not guilty they have got the wrong man and we all know it.
I think it is about time the Police did something good for once and got out there and found the animal that killed this poor old woman. it is unfair that this good family are been put threw this pain GOOD LOOK DAVE AND FAMILY FROM MICK AND ALL THE LADS ON D1

we have known dave for about four months but that is long enough to know that he is tottaly innocent man [look at the Gill Dando case].
i have met is wife a few times she is a really nice lady i feel really sorry for david and is family we hope that he gets a retrial soon and then his name will be cleared my prays are with his family GOOD LUCK DAVE FROM SAJ AND MICK
David is one of the nicest, kindest people you could ever wish to meet. He is a caring family man, a wonderful dad and husband, who has been taken from us, punished for a crime he did not commit.

I do not know David Hill but have read a lot about his case and believe there has been a gross miscarrige of justice

My wife Audrey and I worked opposite David for two years. Audrey sadly died three years ago. I know the heartache I suffer every day and I cannot imagine the heartache Maxine and family are going through. This is a great injustice. David is not capable of such a crime. give us our faith back in British justice, Give David back to his family where he belongs.
I have known Max,David & the boys for about 14 years after working for Molly & John for many years.
I was devastated to hear of Molly’s murder, but even more devastated to hear of Davids arrest & charges.
The Dave i know isnt capable of murder.
He is a kind, caring man who dotes on his wife & children.
He is a genuine, decent guy who wouldn’t harm anyone, especially his family.
My thoughts are with all the family and hope that someday soon David is proven to be innocent & the person who did murder Molly is behind bars where they belong.
I feel at a complete loss with our judicial system when such a miscarriage
of justice ended in Davids conviction.
I cannot think what David and his family must be going through but hope David is back home soon.
NEVER GIVE UP
Another miscarriage of justice!! I would just like to say that my heart is with David and his family. We as a family have just gone through something similiar and know how harsh the papers and the police are. They are also wrong in 99% of there statements. Although I can not help with your case I would just like to wish you all the luck in the world and hope justice is done.
To all David’s family keep going with the fight. I met some of you this evening and hope to offer support for the true justice that David and many others deserve.
I met a couple of David’s family last night & know how they are feeling.They have to ‘Keep Strong’ and ‘NEVER’ give up fighting! British justice stinks!

I continue to believe David Hill is completely innocent of murdering my Mother, Molly Wright. It is a mis- carriage of justice. All his family and friends will continue fighting to prove his innocence!

I recently met Dave in Armley jail and even though I only spent 12 days with him,I can say that he is a nice person with a big heart and love for his family.
Dave helped me on my arrival and we built a friendship during my short visit, he is a well respected man among prison staff and inmates and I truely believe that he is an innocent man and I wish him and his fanily all the best wishes for the future.

On 30th July the Court of Appeal denied David’s application even though there was new evidence and the QC for the Prosecution admitted that some of the forensic evidence given at David’s trial was flawed. David’s Mum, Sister Christine, Brother Malcolm, along with Molly’s daughters family and friends are determined to prove the innocence of David. We KNOW David is Innocent and that someone responsible for this horrific crime is free and leading a normal life. The way this trial has gone continues to amaze me. The police did everything wrong in the first isntance and yet they were granted more time by the magistrate to go on compounding their mistakes. A jury then put a man away for murder on circumstantial evidence (what on earth went wrong with ‘beyond all reasonable doubt’) and finally a Court of Appeal denies a man the right to appeal whilst at the same time admitting that some of the original evidence is flawed and that the new evidence submitted is believable! How bizarre is that.
David is not a murderer. He did not commit this crime and someone, somewhere knows that. I appeal to that person to come forward however hard they find it and right this terrible injustice. His children have already lost their grandmother please don’t let them lose their father as well.
My toughts and prays are still with you Maxine and lads stay strong and believe justice will be done hopefully before much longer.

I don’t personally know David Hill. But speak to his sister Christine. I strongly believe that he his an innocent man. i’m 100% behind David’s family&Friends. All we can do is keep David and his family/friends sprits up and keep fighting for Justice. my thoughts and prays are with you all.
i have known David Hill for at least 20 years and his lovely family , David is a genuine gentle man incapable of the despicable crime committed to molly , he is kind caring and would never do anything to hurt his beloved family , what a misscarriage of justice,
I never knew him personally but he’s an honest man from what I heard. We will include him in our prayers.
My late dear husband Bob and I have known David for what seems forever. I am horrified by all this trouble and sadness that the family are going through. My church in Sleaford really does have proof of miracles and myself and the whole church will pray for him. I continue to believe the true perpetrator of my late Mother is free and David Hill is in prison for a crime he DID NOT commit.
When looking at time lines and looking at the evidence it is obvious David Hill is innocent. People believe forensic science is exact, but it is only an opinion and people get it wrong all the time, you only have to look in the media at other mis-carriages of justice.
David should be free now and the real culprit behind bars!
Two years ago today, the 12th May 2008, my beloved brother David was convicted of the murder of his mother in law, Molly. We KNOW David is totally innocent of this crime. He is serving the sentence with dignity BUT the real perpetrator of this crime is free and living his/their life. David, his family and the family of Molly deserve some peace in their lives. Someone, somewhere knows who committed this crime and I urge them to come forward and reveal the truth. In the meantime support for David grows ever stronger and the fight to prove his innocence continues.
My husband,David,continues to serve a prison sentence for a crime that he did not commit. The person who did this is still at large.
